Well, after over a week of sub-zero temperatures over much of Alaska (sub-zero being anywhere from zero to -65 degrees), Anchorage is coming in at 42 degrees at the moment...
Whitman's temperature is at 14 sunny degrees.
Not too much new to report. We have a new reporter who just flew into the state yesterday. A bunch of us went out with her to the Moose's Tooth to hang out and to get to know her. She seems pretty cool and from what I understand, I think I'll really like working with her. Her background is NPPA, making use of a lot of nats, etc.
Work overall is going pretty darn well. I'm working really hard to get get better with one thing every week...it's a slow process. I wonder if I'll ever get to the point where I am satisfied with my work?
I was invited to my boss' home to observe "Russian Christmas"...it was WICKED cool. I have a couple of pictures to share - I'll have to write about it in my next post because I gotta get ready for work...
New posts coming soon!
